E's first beach trip

Last weekend we went to Destin to celebrate my MIL's birthday. We shopped at the outlets and had dinner at the Back Porch. Who knew you had to pack so much for a little one?
I love the outlets, but hate that they only have ONE bathroom! We were all the way done at the Polo outlet when E had a teetee diaper. So I took her into the dressing room and changed her. Literally a minute after I put her back in the stroller she was crying again (this girl doesn't cry for nothing)...so I realized now we have a stinky diaper! I picked her back up and take her back to the dressing room...people are staring at me the whole time. What you never seen a screaming baby before? When I get to the dressing room I realize there is poo soaking through her pretty little smocked outfit...ick! Bad thing is I only carried her little changing kit into the dressing room...so out she comes in only a diaper. I had an extra outfit in my diaper bag so that was ok. We stuffed the pretty little outfit in a Gap bag we emptied and off we go. We get to the Back Porch and once again she is crying out of control. We pick her up out of her carrier and poo is once again leaking...now in her carrier. We take her out to the car to change her diaper...all I can think is...I have no more outfits...all we bought her was a pair of pants today!! Then it hit me...her Gimme had bought her a little fish onesie...thank goodness! So the next outfit was placed in the Gap bag...along with a makeshift wipe (a blanket). We found out the men had used all of the wipes except one! This was much more than a one wipe mess. Now we're down to one diaper (I packed six) and a pair of pants and we haven't had dinner yet! Needless to say, I was flustered! I hate being unprepared!
Dinner went off without a hitch and we even stepped out on the beach for a few minutes to let E dip her toes in. The ride home was a different story. We had a completely worn out baby girl, who wailed most of the way home. We won't be making that long of a day trip for a while, but all in all the day was great!
Oh yeah! A big yay for OxiClean Max Force for getting all the poo out!
