Day 18-My Wedding

I totally stink at this!! I am WAY too busy to try to keep up with a blog everyday! Right now I have about 30 minutes. I'm sitting here with hair color on...yep! too busy to get a professional dye job too! I hope my hair doesn't turn green. I have an interview tomorrow :)

So here goes my wedding...my dream wedding!

First dance with my husband...giggling like fools because we hated everyone looking at us!
Sunset wedding-November 17, 2007 I always wanted a fall wedding. We got engaged on June 30th and I didn't want to wait over a year to get married, so we planned really, really quickly! Our wedding was at the Macks house. It was really informal and fun! The rehearsal dinner was freezing cold, but our wedding day was just about picture perfect weather considering it was November.
My dad and I making our way to the aisle. I wish I could have videoed or recorded the words he said to me moments before this. It was the sweetest conversation I ever had with my daddy. He told me that he waited for this a long time and he was so proud of me. That he liked Brett alot and I made a good choice. We both cried and hugged. Then he kissed me on the cheek and it was time for us to go. He looked so handsome in his tuxedo. I miss him so much!
My matron of honor, bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid, flower girl, and bell ringer. Don't they all look gorgeous? I loved those bridesmaid dresses, especially the color. All of my nieces wore those pillowcase dresses with matching ribbons. Brett's mom did the pretty bouquets.
Sitting out back on the swing catching my breath for a moment right before the ceremony. I got to sneak a peek at our wedding and groomsmen cake from Sugar Rush. They were awesome!
My blue satin shoes and dress. I love those shoes! I danced the night away in them and they were so comfortable. I have them put up. It looks like Miss E is going to have a small foot too. Maybe she'd like to wear them at her wedding for her something blue.

Our wedding colors were chocolate brown and cornflower blue. I made the invitations by handstamping blue cardstock and printing chocolate words on white linen. Brett helped too! I love our invitations. I should take a picture and post it. Maybe I will soon. The Blairs (if you're from here you know them) catered. We had a sit down dinner. It was delicious! We had pecan crusted chicken and whatever meat Brett chose and lots of sides...complete with yummy Sister Schubert's rolls. Brett chose to have a band that he loved from college for our entertainment. They did not disappoint! Never in my life would I have thought I would be doing the hokey pokey at my wedding, but it was so fun. They also played lots of other great dance music, including my request for "She's Got Legs" to take off my garter! The evening was exactly what we wanted with lots of family, friends, and fun in a country setting.

Now I gotta run before I fry my hair!
